What kept you moving forward? 

We admire people who seem to keep on going no matter what. Perseverance usually pays off in any context. In the spiritual realm, perseverance changes everything. The church at Thessalonica was struggling, and Paul provided them some much-needed encouragement. When they were tempted to give up, Paul admonished them to stay the course.
