Called to be “a prophet to the nations,” Jeremiah’s primary message to Judah was to repent in light of the coming judgment of God. Unfortunately, we will see that the recipients of God’s message are reluctant to respond in obedience. Though these book can feel heavy with judgment, Jeremiah also delivered a message of hope and of future restoration.
