This is my very first Podcast. Big thanks to Tom Edwards for getting me started. It's not as difficult as it all seems and here I am with a podcast.

Did you know that 1 in 4 women experience some form of domestic abuse?
How shocking is that? But did you also know that 1 in 7 men experience domestic abuse too?
Domestic abuse seems to be a taboo subject and the Warriors keep it all secret for many reasons.
But not Cheryl Sharp
Last week Cheryl announced her new podcast where she talks about her experience of domestic abuse.
I didn't have a clue.
In all the time I've known Cheryl she's been outwardly strong, positive and ambitious. I never knew what was happening behind closed doors.
Cheryl wants to share her story, and not just about her experience as a domestic abuse survivor. Her story is about hope, shifting her mindset, and finding the strength to move in the right direction.
By talking about her experience Cheryl wants to show that you can face your fear, stand up to adversity and push yourself out of your comfort zone to get what you truly desire.
Today's show isn't what I thought it was going to be, but I'm looking forward to helping Cheryl to bring her podcast and story to more people in the hope that she empowers more survivors to grow.
