Our Mirrorballs weekly disco show presenter Jo Gray was recently lured to Portsmouth Museum by a large mirror ball featuring at a new immersive exhibition.
Set up in collaboration with Downtown Pompey, and inspired by the group's successful theatre show 'Sticky Floors and Palm Trees, visitors can explore modern-day social history through local stories & shared experiences linked to the theme of an iconic nightclub which closed its doors 20 years ago.
Jo meets artistic director Josh, who gives us a taste of what to expect.
Downtown Pompey is a performance-based organisation bringing together a variety of local communities in Portsmouth, through queer art practices; offering a space to explore identities and understanding that everyone has a voice and a place to be heard. For more visit downtownpompey.com.
