That's what happened to Mercy Johnson, one of the most successful Nollywood actresses, who discovered that her images were used by Virony Nigeria Limited, a household products company, on their sanitary pads without her knowledge or consent. She sued the company for breach of contract, infringement of her intellectual property rights, and violation of her privacy rights.
