Hello amazing people of the Hive Community. It’s another great day to work on a mathematics problem from the topic Matrices. In this particular exercise, we are given two different matrices of the same order (2 × 2) and asked to evaluate C² + CD. The second part of the question requires us to compare two different expressions to determine whether they yield the same result.
To solve part (a), I first obtained the matrix for C² and then added it to CD.
For part (b), I calculated the transpose of the required matrices and applied the necessary operations to simplify the given expression.
