The Austin Astronomical Society will take you on a journey through the cosmos this episode. Born the month after Apollo 11 touched down on the moon, the society has been on a mission to share the wonders of the universe with the urbanites of Austin for over 45 years. The society hosts star parties at their private observatory in the Canyon of the Eagles, and holds monthly meetings discussing the latest news in the universe of astronomy.

In this episode Charlie & Kyle sit down with the outreach chair and former president of the Austin Astronomical Society, Jim & Joyce Lynch and chat about the stars. They share their stories of star parties, how looking through a telescope can blow your mind, and Kyle nerds out about Space X and the future of space travel.
