Christophe explains that culture is probably THE most important factor during M&A and companies that don't treat it seriously will suffer significant losses. Cultural differences can completely destroy the deal if not tackled early in pre-deal negotiations.

Christophe goes on the recommend that a solid understanding of how culture shows itself and how it impacts a business (negative and positive) is a something that all managers and business leaders should have in their skill set.
