In this talk from November 9, 2024, Abbot Peter Eberle, OSB, explores the history of the controversies concerning the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and discusses the ethical implications of the Real Presence for the Christian life.

This is the third of four talks in the 2024 Christian in the World lecture series, sponsored by the Mount Angel Institute. The theme for the entire series is “Celebrating and Adoring Christ in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.”

The Christian in the World lecture series is an integrated program of study, prayer, and discussion for Christians who want to live their faith more deeply.
