Le pianiste Ahmad Jamal est mort le 16 avril dernier, à lâge de 92 ans. Sa longue carrière a connu des hauts et des bas et la reconnaissance a été tardive. Pourtant sa contribution au jazz est importante et il a influencé Miles Davis, tout comme de nombreux pianistes après lui.
