In the first episode of 2024, Alexis is joined by Bermudian born, China trained,  multidisciplinary contemporary artist and researcher, Gherdai Hassell. She is a Graduate of the China Academy of Art and currently resides in Manchester, UK. 

Gherdai is a 3 time Best of Bermuda Award -Visual Art recipient, and has also been awarded with numerous other accolades, including: 

• Best of Bermuda Award -Visual Art recipient
• 2021 Women’s United Art Prize recipient. 
• 2023 Jerwood at HOME residency (she is one of the first artists selected to attend)
• 2022 Manchester Open Award winner
• 2021 Masterworks Museum Charman Prize winner for distinctive style
