Suncorp is the latest Australian bank to offload its life insurance business amid a crunch on profits and increasing regulation.

CEO Michael Cameron is also on the board of the obscure Great Barrier Reef foundation, which has controversially been awarded 444 million taxpayers dollars by the federal government.
