It's finally time for our hosts to check out some prog-rock. We've heard of King Crimson's "In The Court of The Crimson King" for years - and have probably known the iconic album cover for longer - but knew little of what the whole thing was about. No longer!
Should you listen to this album? Should we have? It's time to find out!

We're back! Last time around we talked about phone etiquette at shows, so now we figured it was time to test our theories! This episode, our intrepid hosts break down their four-hour road trip to Toronto to see Jack White with openers Angine de Poitrine. Listen as we discuss the whole "no phone" policy, the insane heat, and...oh yeah...what we thought of the show.
Have you been to a "no phone" so recently? What was the experience like? Let us know in the comments.

It's time for a little concert etiquette talk. Old dudes like ourselves lament the use of cellphones at concerts all the time, so that's nothing new. But with Phoebe Bridgers recently doing the whole "no phones" thing for her club tour, is the tide turning on cellphones at concerts? We talk about the usefulness of phones, the fan/artist contract at concerts, and whether or not the whole world is actually going to hell.
What do you think? Are you cool with artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Jack White banning phones at concerts? Let us know in the comments.

This time around, our hosts get a little philosophical. When - if ever - is it okay for musicians to use some sort of aid to remember their lyrics? Watching a couple of live duets in which the guest artist used a teleprompter really got E thinking. Is it a significant downgrade to a live performance if the artist can't remember their own lyrics? Does it even matter?
What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

Guessing this one will NOT go over well with the hip-hop heads...This time around for our "crate" album review we're finally listening to Ghosftace Killah's "Supreme Clientele" from 2000. Widely considered a hip-hop classic, our hosts had high hopes (especially as Wu-Tang fans). How did their first listen go? Not great...What do you think of "Supreme Clientele?" Not sure how three years in we still get all worked-up by click-baity lists, but here we are. Pitchfork's "Perfect 10" series is a curious one for sure - both for their choices of artists to interview and the albums those artists choose as "Perfect 10s." Let's talk about it.What album is a "Perfect 10" for you? We can guarantee that you won't be able to guess what songs made our list of Favorite Guitar Solos. Okay, so longtime Extended Family members will probably be able to guess at least one of Tank's. ;)
