This week on Grim Curriculum: Extra Credit, Dina is doing most of the heavy lifting while Charlotte recovers from her trip to Vancouver (she sunburned her forehead), but don't worry, we've still got a wonderfully strange collection of stories for you.

First up is a tale involving Tom Selleck... kind of. Not really. What starts out sounding amusing quickly becomes something much more tragic, serving as a reminder that scams can have devastating consequences. Next, we have a story about a dog left in a parked car. Before you jump to conclusions, this one doesn't go where you think it will. Let's just say there is some unfortunate friendly fire courtesy of man's best friend. Continuing our apparent theme of subverting expectations, we cover the theft of thousands of dollars worth of an item that most people would never expect to become the target of a major burglary. And of course, we wrap things up with this week's Strange and Unusual Death, a story so baffling and uncomfortable that you may find yourself grasping your head and not just in disbelief.
