Charlotte then shares some shocking old news from 2011 involving the actor behind McGruff the Crime Dog, proving that even the voices behind familiar faces can have a darker side. Dina follows with a truly horrifying home invasion story that feels like something straight out of a nightmare. Thankfully, Charlotte lightens things up with the tale of a flamboyant Florida gangster and fire chief whose disappearance remains unsolved to this day. Dina brings us right back into chaos with another Florida story, this time involving a surgeon who is in serious trouble after removing the wrong organ. Charlotte’s final story takes us back to 1946 with the Battle of Athens, a rare example of ordinary people standing up against corruption and winning. And of course, we wrap things up with this week’s Strange and Unusual Death. This one is as gruesome as it is cautionary, and might be one of the most memorable arguments against driving under the influence we’ve ever heard.
