England’s Hidden Reverse: A Secret History of the Esoteric Underground was originally published in 2003 and quickly went out of print, an annoying but appropriate reflection of its subject matter. The most comprehensive account to date of first-generation British industrial music, the book has recently been given new life by Strange Attractor Press.

To mark the publication of this updated edition, we’ve put together a special episode featuring the music of Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Current 93 and Nurse With Wound.
