In this Extra Time edition of the The Inner Huddle Perry discusses why it's not beneficial to judge your child's progress simply based on how they perform in matches. Matches help children learn the game and develop intuition and understanding, but, in terms of football development, one to three minutes contact time with the ball isn't enough. The result, and how your child played, is also not a good guide to how well your child is developing. A very important episode!
