(Text: John 12:1-11) When Mary pours out an entire jar of very expensive perfume on Jesus's feet, Judas Iscariot objects that this could have been sold to give to the poor. While his motives weren't pure, his objection seems to be a sensible one. When Jesus answers however, Mary is shown to be in the right. How often do we let appearing responsible get in the way of giving God praise?
