Welcome to the premiere of Extreme Sisters, aka “Boundaries? Never heard of her.”

We start in Georgia with sisters Patrix and Patrica, who are so committed to their bond that basic personal hygiene has become a team sport. Patrix has apparently spent her entire life shelving her own dreams so Patrica could get married, have kids, and build a life — and now she’s decided it’s finally her turn. The solution? Move Patrica and all her children to Orlando… and maybe leave the husband behind like an optional carry-on. Their mom is understandably like, “Absolutely not,” while Patrix insists there are simply no men left in Atlanta. A true housing crisis.

Meanwhile in Oklahoma City, Brooke’s one-year marriage is already hanging on by a thread because her 21-year-old sister Baylee has moved in and refuses to respect the radical concept of… sleeping in her own bed. Denver, the husband, tries to set some very reasonable rules — like no dirty underwear on the floor and maybe don’t crawl into our marital bed at night — but the sisters treat this like he’s proposing emotional warfare. A backyard badminton match somehow becomes a high-stakes legal ruling on whether Baylee gets to keep third-wheeling their marriage. The girls win. Denver loses. Humanity loses.

Then we fly to Perth, Australia to meet identical twins Anna and Lucy, who have taken “same same” to a level that feels less sisterly and more Black Mirror. They vacuum together, shower together, count their food bites together, and share one long-suffering boyfriend who’s been doing synchronized relationship gymnastics for ten years. When a dentist says only one twin needs a tooth removed, the other demands to sacrifice a perfectly healthy tooth for the sake of symmetry. When the dentist refuses, they choose… lifelong pain. Because nothing says love like untreated dental issues.

Overall, Episode 1 makes one thing very clear: on this show, sisterhood isn’t just a bond — it’s a full-time lifestyle choice that everyone else is expected to emotionally survive
