EXTROVERT VERSUS INTROVERT IN SALES

Are you an introvert or extrovert? In other words, do you get energized by other people or do you get rejuvenated alone? 

Too many times in sales, we hear that being outgoing is the best way in sales. That is not the case. 

Extrovert:

  • Pro - Able to speak to people and less afraid of the conversation.
  • Con - Focused on your to be the life of the party and not the customer.

Introvert:

  • Pro - Able to ask great questions because the focus is on others.
  • Con - Focus is not on the individual but the actions taking place.


Base questions in sales for struggling reps:

  1. How would you explain your zoning?
  2. How do you categorize your accounts?
  3. How do you manage your time?
  4. Explain where your time is being used most.
  5. How do you organize your day?
  6. Identify the 5 accounts you would be okay losing.
