Herpes Ophthalmicus or eye herpes was the main topic of our talk with David Norcott, OD, Optometrist at Auburn Eye Care.  Herpes Ophthalmicus is one possible complication of shingles or chicken pox which are both caused by the herpes varicella-zoster virus.
