Not long before he died I found my Grandfather's diary of his time in the war.  There was a section about the retreat to Dunkirk.  It was harrowing reading.  A 100 mile trek that sounded like a walk through hell.  But I was intrigued by Michael who Grandfather said had kept their spirits up; had seen them through the nightmare.  Shortly after he died I decided to fulfil his last wish: to visit Michael's grave ato say thank you.  I found the grave but I also found a lot more than I'd bargained for.
