Although the Jews of Jesus’ day were anticipating a Messiah, they failed to recognize Him. The scripture He quoted to them most frequently was, “Having eyes you do not see, and having ears you do not hear.” Jesus proclaimed a spiritual kingdom, one that we can only enter as we surrender our own carnal perception. Then what we see and hear will align in faith with God’s supernatural power.
