When we open our eyes to the work God is doing in our own lives and the lives of those around us it helps us all to grow closer to God. Seeing these things and the actions He takes in with us and those around us helps us by making it easier to trust in Him and His word. This is about understanding that no matter whether He is expressing love to use by the provision made for our needs, maybe the blessing of strength and endurance through the revelation of His word reviled unto us, or it could be grace and mercy bestowed upon us when we know we did not deserve it. It could even be that He showed us His love by allowing some challenge into our life with the intention of one getting our attention to turn to Him. Again showing us grace and mercy when we do and all the while turning the results of this challenge or trial in our life to be turned into a blessing by which He is glorified because we saw, heard and responded in obedience to Him. --It is one of the biggest problems I think we face in the church and I don-t just mean this church the global church. We miss out on recognizing what God is doing with us or those around us. This leaves us missing out on many blessings. We just as Saul become blinded to everything around us and all we see is what we think will be best for me. We become focused of power, prestige, and our goal and this grows into full-fledged pride and arrogance just like that we saw in Saul. --So the question is what will it take for God to get your attention turned towards Him-
