After 70 years in exile in Babylon, the nation of Israel comes back to Jerusalem with all the resources they need to accomplish the task of rebuilding the temple. The work stalls as all the people settle in their own towns until a few leaders rise up to rebuild the community around a shared identity and a shared worship.
