In this episode of Fathership, I'm getting into the topic of Stay At Home Moms. Their challenges, their value, and why I think they are easily the most important member of a household. Society wants to make them feel lesser, devalued, pathetic or weak, but nothing could be further from the truth. Anyone who has been around a stay at home mom for any length of time could tell you the benefits of having a devoted, attentive, loving and caring partner and parent around during the peak developmental years. That is what's happening on today's episode. I go into detail about my experience being married to a stay at home mom, and the challenges she's face with family, jealousy, feminists and career people, all the while being the Most Valuable Player in the lives of both my daughter and I. If you know a stay at home mom, send her the episode!
"They are the unnecessary recipients of a lot of crap"
"Is it a struggle sometime? Yes. Is it hard sometimes? Yes. For me and for her"
"Since she's become a stay at home mom, my wife has been attacked by people"
"If you think every mom on the planet should be working, you are wrong. Deal with that."
"Men, Stay at home moms are not slaves"
"You have no idea how much of a privilege it is in a way to drop your kids off at daycare and go to work"
"You might actually be putting more money in the bank by staying at home"
"If you're not going to encourage them, don't discourage them"
"Your stay at home mom is without a doubt the most valuable thing you have in your household"
