Actor Cherise Boothe and director Lileana Blain-Cruz join us to discuss the play, “Fabulation, or The Re-Education of Undine.” This satirical tale, set in New York City, follows successful African-American publicist Undine, as she stumbles down the social ladder after her husband steals her hard-earned fortune.

For years, the Port Authority put up decorations around the holiday season, but this year, instead of bringing joy to people’s hearts, many commuters felt that the decorations were misplaced. One man, Cory Windelspecht, (23:40) created a petition on change.org, “Move the Christmas Tree on the Holland Tunnel from the N to cover the A.” Windelspecht and Gothamist reporter, Ben Yakas, join us for this installment of our "Petition Series" to discuss how this petition prompted the Port Authority to change its decorations this year.

WNYC’s business and culture editor, Charlie Herman, (43:17) joins us for this week’s installment of “Charlie for the Culture.”
