Lemebel grew up in poverty and a world full of ruthless injustice. Blessed by the power of creativity, writing, and criticism, he stood up for those who did not have the power to stand up for themselves.
This is the story of a man (or in his own words 'queen') who dedicated his life to equality. Against all odds and hardships, he strived for a world where everyone had a place.
