This episode explores the personal leadership story of Dr. Denise James, the Director of the Women and Gender studies program at University of Dayton, a philosopher and Black feminist change agent. Through her witty story telling and reflection we had the opportunity to talk through early accounts of her leadership lessons and experience with being a Black woman in Academia and what that means for her personal and professional development.
