God draws people to himself and he used the birth of Jesus and a star to draw some unlikely worshipers to himself. But these worshipers alert Herod to the birth of a new King. Kings don't like to hear about the birth of a rival King and Herod takes brutal steps to try to secure his reign. Through it all we see Jesus' mother Mary trying to make sense of it all and exercising faith in the face of fear.
