  1. There are four Gospels.
  2. The Gospels were written after Jesus’ life.
  3. The Gospels were originally anonymous works, and the names we associate with them were added later.
  4. The Gospels, like other parts of the Bible, were written primarily in figurative language.
  5. When comparing the four Gospel accounts, there are inconsistencies.
