There are growing efforts to increase awareness and action around taking care of our planet. At Kapi‘olani Community College, there is a team of faculty who are making a difference through the College's Academic Subject Certificate in Sustainability (https://www.kapiolani.hawaii.edu/sustainability/). In this episode, we bring together members of this team who are on the front lines inspiring the next wave of sustainability advocates. In this episode are Dr. Wendy Kuntz, Dr. Krista Hiser, Dr. Jaclyn Lindo, and Dr. Kealalokahi Losch who shared what sustainability means to them and how they engage students around this important issue. There was so much that was covered that I had to split this podcast into two parts. Please enjoy part 1 of 2 of this podcast. More information about Kapi‘olani Community College Academic Subject Certificate in Sustainability can be found on https://www.kapiolani.hawaii.edu/sustainability/.
