Loved it!

I adored this book. Generally I don't care for characters in show business, but the other themes in this book drew me to it and I'm really glad I picked it up.

First, we have Tatum. She won me over with her dirty mouth and her sass. She's hilarious, unfiltered, and the kind of person I'd like to be. She's successful and completely happy with her life... you know, other than the little part about going blind. Enter Ben. He becomes her personal assistant, helping her adjust to her narrowing vision and impending darkness. He's perfect for her immediately. He's sweet, funny, and adores her from the moment he sets eyes on her. The reader knows that he has a secret the entire time, and so does Tatum for a while, and when it finally comes out, it's heartbreaking but perfect all at the same time. Their chemistry is off-the-charts and very real. I loved all of the characters.

I only have two complaints. One, it took way too long for Ben to enter the picture. I actually was pretty bored for the first six or so chapters. Once Ben shows up, it picks up substantially. Two, the vacation section slows down again. It needed to happen, in a way, but it got a bit blah for me. Other than that, it was fast paced, funny, and so sweet. I'll definitely be reading more from this author in the future!

AMAZING!

Great Job! It was not anything like I was expecting! Yeah it's a love story and who doesn't love a "Love" story; but it is so much more than that! I love that it kept me on my toes and guessing what was next! Each time I thought I was figuring it out; something would make me second guess myself! But I was very pleased with how it ended; but you'll have to read the book for yourself to know how the lives of Tatum & Ben play out! Happy reading! :)

So in less than two days I'm headed to an author signing so I'm desperately trying to read books from authors that will be at this signing. I happen to see a posting from one of the authors on the event page saying if you are unfamiliar with her work here is a book on sale. So I go check it out and check the author's goodreads page and see what other books she has out and what people are saying about them.
