Σ2 explores darker sides of experimental music and spatial aspects of sound. Intense and occasionally harsh, the compilation reflects on the lineage of unconventional composition — minimalist drone, spoken word, field recordings and underground noise. Coming from different backgrounds and using diverse production techniques, the 11 artists deliver a dense sonic palette and challenge the listener to go beyond the conformity of genre and into the unknown.
