Today’s guest is Faezah Shaharuddin, a multi-disciplinary designer and Founder of Studio Kallang, whose work explores cultural nuance, memory and craft, primarily through furniture and object design. Studio Kallang pieces have been shipped to clients worldwide via stockists such as SSENSE, 1stDibs and Adorno. Her work has most recently been exhibited at Milan Design Week 2025. In this episode, Faezah talks about the influence of growing up in a creative household in Singapore and then studying in Seattle, translating her identity into something tangible through design, and staying grounded in her practice.
