Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, part 2 - 4, narrated by Isaac Birchall
In this chapter, Montag goes to the firehouse. He goes up the pole, and finds Beaty standing with his back to the hole, almost waiting for him. Montag puts the book in his hand and notes that Beaty doesn’t even look at the book, but throws it away. Montag then, with the help of Faber, starts to question Beaty on the firemen, and books. Beaty retorts like a master swordsman fighting an apprentice. All of his answers are well thought through and he confuses Montag into a stupor, and Montag starts to question everything that Faber has spoken to him about. As the night goes on, a call comes in, and Beaty gets all of the men into the fire truck, leading them to the second burning of the book.
