In this episode, Sarah Brown discuss the many challenges she has faced in her life. A family history of alcoholism put her at risk of developing the same allergy. Indeed, alcohol became a problem later in her life. She had an interest in mental health and got a degree in counseling but decided not to make it her career. With a business partner Sarah started a business in 2013 but after 4 years they had to shut it down. While trying to cope with this disappointment, alcohol reared its ugly head.. After a conversation with her husband, she made the decision to get healthy.

Sarah now works with teams and is in a leadership role at a growing company. She also has a podcast called Failing Forward where she has guests share their stories of failures they have experienced in their lives. The show highlights how each person persevered and came out on the other side.
