Failure.

It comes in all shapes and sizes.  And it always sets me back.

Failure can be colossal, like being fired from a job… or less tragic, like botching a good diet day by eating a bag of candy corn. 

As a mom, I can say my kids struggles used to be something I counted among my failures too.  Womanhood as a whole is laced with societal and self-perceived failures. Marriages fall apart, friendships end, and careers fizzle...

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
