When we succumb to temptation, our tendency is to hide away the pain, the shame, the guilt-to pretend like it never happened. But we serve a God that never intended us to bear that burden alone. Bringing our failure into the light of the mercy of Jesus lets Him carry it and starts the process of restoration for us.
