HEBREWS 1:1 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for…

Our faith has a foundation on who God is. OUR HOPE IS IN WHO GOD IS

  - 2 What is hope? The assurance behind knowing you are next. HOPE - IM NEXT

*You have hope and it makes up what faith is

You better have the right substance…

its not how much faith (mustard seed) you have, its the substance of hope.

• * Think of it like this - as that kid waiting on that rollercoaster… back up a few months. Someone told me about that Rollercoaster. I had no social media, no internet, no books or brochures on this… no commercials because I was out of state. I HAD TO TAKE SOMEONE AT HIS WORD. I HAD FAITH. 

By faith we are sure of eternal things; by hope we are confident that we shall have them 

or…

faith makes us sure of the things we hope for, and that assurance is itself proof of these things.

But remember Gods word is active… it is Gods word regardless of wether we believe it or not.

Faith in Gods word does not make it Gods word. Gods word is Gods word.

God said it, I believe it, that settles it…. is wrong. God said it, that settles it. 

Feelings don’t have intellect… Does your faith live on hope or feelings? Faith is not a feeling. Have you ever forgotten to take the garbage out and early morning you hear the garbage truck rumbling up the street, one house at a time… You do not feel like getting out of your warm bed, next to your warm wife… but no matter how you feel that truck is coming. 

DO I HAVE FAITH?

Eph. 2:8 faith is a gift. We all get a portion of faith… but how we nurture it, how satan might try to steal or poison it. 

Mark 9:23 The man brings his boy to Jesus. Jesus says if you believe anything is possible. The man says, I believe, help my unbelief.

The man had enough faith to bring the boy to Jesus

he had enough faith to ask

He had enough faith in Jesus to be honest with him and tell him he had unbelief

JESUS WILL WORK WITH YOU WHERE YOU ARE AT IN YOUR FAITH JOURNEY.
