We see in Jesus’ ministry there are only two positions that those who saw Him and heard Him, took. That was, were they going to press in, believe and seek to understand His words or were they going to flat out refuse Him? This has always been the way of Israel toward their God. They, so often, doubted God and were faithless and there were consequences for that sin. Other times, they were faithful and received all the covenantal blessings that come with a relationship with God. Well, the Son of God, the Son of Man is no different. We must receive His words as those spoken from the very mouth of His Father Himself.
