In light of the conviction of Dallas police officer Amber Guyger and the powerful act of forgiveness displayed by the victim’s brother, Brandt Jean, we felt compelled to take a look at what the truth is about forgiveness and why it’s almost expected that black people should automatically chose to forgive in the face of tragedy. This episode bodes two of the most qualified persons to speak on this issue in sports agent Adisa Bakari and pro football player/social activist Ben Watson.
