The topic of salvation by faith or works has been discussed for many years. Some people teach that a person is saved by works. Others teach that it is by faith alone. But there are scriptures in God's Word that indicate that both are required...and that there is a faith that will save and one that will not save, while there are works that will save and those that will not save.
