Some people want the Gospel with the rough edges sanded down. Not me. If the Word of God is a sword, I want it sharp enough to cut through my pride, my excuses, and my self-made comfort zones. All or Nothing is my musical reminder that following Jesus isn’t about cherry-picking verses that make us feel good — it’s about embracing His truth in its entirety: the fire and the whisper, the mercy and the rod.
Lyrics
[Verse 1]Don’t give me half a gospel,Don’t water down the flame.I need the kind of scriptureThat calls me out by name. Not just the comfy phrases,Not just the gentle breeze—Give me the sword that cuts meAnd drops me to my knees.
[Chorus]I want the whole Word—every line, every cry,Even when it wrecks me and I don’t know why.Don’t wrap it up pretty or tie it with a bow,'Cause pruning is holy and it helps me grow.I want the fire and the whisper,The mercy and the rod—If I’m gonna follow Jesus,I want all of God.
[Verse 2]I used to scroll right past it,The parts that hit too hard. But truth don’t come in sprinkles,It comes to guard your heart. So let it break my comfort,And shatter all pretense—This love is not a sentiment,It’s full of consequence.
[Chorus – repeat]I want the whole Word—every line, every cry,Even when it wrecks me and I don’t know why.Don’t wrap it up pretty or tie it with a bow,'Cause pruning is holy and it helps me grow.I want the fire and the whisper,The mercy and the rod—If I’m gonna follow Jesus,I want all of God.
[Bridge]So take my pride, take my plans,Take my filters, take my stance.Every part I used to fight—Burn it up in holy light.
[Final Chorus – big & bold]I want the whole Word—don’t spare me the sting.Let conviction rise up like a lion that sings. No sugar, no fluff, no palatable spin—Just the truth that sets free from the shackles of sin.I want the fire and the whisper,The mercy and the rod—If I’m gonna follow Jesus...I want all of God.
