Sure, praising Jesus isn't so hard when everything is going our way. What happens when it doesn't and we're not in the mood anymore? Is God's goodness dependent on our own? In this sermon we reflect together on the challenge of hearing and speaking words of praise for God when they feel lifeless to us, or to the one who is worshiping with us, or to the one down the street who is suffering. The psalmist challenges us to remember God's promises when we struggle to see them lived out, and how we need community to hold each other up. Our sermon series, Faith Enough, continues with Psalm 111.
