Faith in Motion: Behind the Scenes of the Annual Novena Procession
In this podcast, Fr Terence shared how special it was to witness the culmination of months of planning and preparation amidst argument and tension. The process started around March with teams organizing various aspects such as flowers, liturgy, candles, and other activities, leading up to Triduum and Annual Procession.
In addition, a nine-week novena devotion with each novena focusing on a different outreach group such as
Family Life, Migrants, Refugees and others, aligned with this year’s theme of Mary, Missionary of Perpetual Help with pastoral care for the most abandoned.
Changes were also made to crown bearers, with Fr Pang crowning the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help instead of past years where the main celebrant would crown the Icon.
Post ANP, the church will be busy with the upcoming Papal Mass and the Feast of Saint Gerard.
