Faith Into Faithfulness
Pastor Farrell Wilson delivers the sermon “Faith into Faithfulness” at the Lighthouse Church in Grenada Mississippi. The opening text comes from Hebrews Chapter 11 and verse 8 through 10 “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”
Despite all the wrongs of Abraham and his wife Sarah, the Holy Spirit gives God’s final thoughts on the man of Faith in Hebrews Chapter 11. It does not matter what God thinks of you, it matters what God says. Men would have never accepted Abraham in Church leadership. But God accepted Abraham and used him on a scale like no other man. He is the Father of a great multitude. Abraham started with a little Faith, that turned into great faith and faithfulness to God
