The main message of the scriptures is that God is faithful. Consequently, faith in God refers to God's faithfulness. Faith is God's performance of what He had promised the fathers and the prophet. The end result of this performance is that God owns you nothing, because He had done all he had promised to do. Then you owe Him everything.
