Juan Pablo Herrera is a second generation immigrant who was born and raised in
Chicago. A life-long community organizer he has championed around the issues of education, gentrification, and immigration. As Acting City Director for DOOR Network, Juan Pablo invited young adults to see Chicago through the lens of those who God uses here to help those living in the margins. Currently he is earning a Masters in Public Ministry at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and is the pastor of Cosmopolitan United Church in Melrose Park and is exploring the possibility of planting a bold, inclusive, and relevant ministry with outreach to the Latiné community.
