The Silent Thief of Thankfulness. Comparison, entitlement, and distraction quietly drain our joy. From Philippians 4:11 (KJV), we learn contentment is learned, as Paul did in chains. We’ll expose the thieves, practice holy remembrance, slow our hurry, and let gratitude rise because CHRIST is enough. “Not that I speak in respect of want… I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” Reclaim a thankful heart today.

“Faith & Life Together” welcomes November with a four-week journey in gratitude. In Episode 1—“When Gratitude Doesn’t Come Easy”—we learn to give thanks in trials, anchoring our hearts in WHO God IS, not just what He does. “In every thing give thanks” (1 Thess. 5:18, KJV). Expect Scripture, honest encouragement, and practical steps to choose joy, find strength in Jesus, and see His hand even in the shadows. Breathe, lean in, and be refreshed.

Step to the starting line of 1 Corinthians 9:24—“So run, that ye may obtain.” With Hebrews 12:1–2, Philippians 4:13, and 2 Timothy 4:7–8, ladies, this devotion calls us to intention, discipline, and perseverance for every season—busy moms, singles, grandmothers, and the weary. Lay aside every weight, fix your eyes on Jesus, and press toward the incorruptible crown—HIS “Well done.”

If something is meant to grow, and it stays the same. It is a sign that something is wrong. Healthy things grow. Sometimes growth feels slow and unnoticeable, and at other times, it feels uncomfortable.
